"description": "A stylized wind glider gifted to you as a mark of Mondstadt's acknowledgment and recognition.",
"rarity": "4",
"story": "\"A gust of wind would be really good just about now.\"\nThus sighed the adventurer trekking through the seemingly boundless wilderness.\nThe sounds of his lament ascended to the lofty children of the skies, who reside in the towering heavens above. One of the children, hearing the adventurer's plea, began to wonder how to bring the breeze to this person in need.\n\"It can be done, but you must set out from the shores in the east. You must then hike through the ravines of mountains and hills, and wend your way along the sandy banks of springs and rivers. Only after a journey of insurmountable distance will you finally reach him.\"\n\nSo it departed from the eastern shores, embarking on a journey of its own.\nAlong the way, it found some dandelion seeds that desired to travel, so it carried the seeds for a distance along the way.\nThen it met nestlings who had just hatched and desired to soar through the air, so it lifted their delicate wings.\nIt then happened upon some village elders who were too old to prepare grain for themselves, so it tarried for a while, spinning the sails of their windmills.\nAs it came to serve others and selflessly cared for the lands, it began to slowly materialize, gradually taking the form of a person.\nWhen it finally came to the end of its path and met the stranded adventurer,\nit was no longer the gust of wind that the adventurer had first hoped for.\n\n\"A gust of wind would be really good just about now.\"\nSo it then accompanied that first adventurer on his journey across the lands...\n\n— \"This is a lovely parable from a saint of the Church of Favonius. The moral of the story is to always be ready to help those in need and willing to serve others. In recognition of your kind and charitable deeds, I bestow upon you this wind glider.\"",

And though the mountain would remain covered in snow and ice, life would grow again, faint and fragile, on the ground.\n\nThe nestlings would never know who it was who saved them.\nThe dragon, lovely as jewels, would also be forgotten, as would the eyes of the owls that had once shone brightly in the darkness.\nToday, the branches that birds perched upon in antiquity have grown out once more, though they are stained an ominous crimson...\n\nAnd though this is but a tangential matter, a crimson-red falcon that had perhaps left its flock to hunt and protect after dark would also take up the night owls' name.\n\nIn the silence of the night, they call out, passing the secret along:\nWe shall rise again.\nThe withered tree has sprouted anew, for a time of still greater trial is coming.\n\nAnd so, I gift unto you this pair of wings. "story": "This is an item that drifted here from another world. It symbolizes that world's final feast, and the coming of the weekend.\n\nOnce upon a time, that world was ruled by dragons.\nBut not the ones you hear about in stories. These were more akin to a cross between lizards and chickens.\n\nIt might be hard for you to imagine it, Klee, but that was exactly what that world was like: fish-dragons lived in the oceans, and bird-dragons soared through the skies on wings that were super huge!\nThey were powerful creatures, and so they looked down on all the other animals.\nIn that world, they were rulers of all life.\n\nLater on, humans appeared in that world.\nNo one knows how that happened. Maybe they came with the falling meteorites. Who knows? But what we do know is that they had a strange habit, which was known as \"Sunday dinner.\"\nNot long after, that day came. The feast was about to begin.\nDragon drumsticks and dragon wings were smeared with flour, and were subjected to the flames of the furnaces that the humans made.\nThey were made into food for everyone. They say that dragon meat tasted delicious, causes the people to lick their fingers after eating.\nThe Sunday feast, which used to only happen once a week, became a daily occurrence, because the meat was just too good.\n\"This is great!\"\n\"Let's have Sunday dinner every day of the week!\"\nAnd so everyone cheered.\nAnd that was how the time of the dragons come to an end.\n\nThis wind glider commemorates that great extinction, and it was not always this color. It was once blue and white.\nKlee's mother changed its color scheme to be more amenable to that of their family, which resulted in its current form. She returned home briefly, leaving this wind glider behind, before leaving once again.\n\"Teyvat's borders have grown fragile these past two years — looks like Mommy's going to have to get busy.\"",

Piercing rainbows, slicing frost and snow, they jest at the sight of the battles down below.\"\n— Our story today begins with this passage.\nEveryone knows that all throughout the vast wilderness of Liyue, aspiring martial artists who hold tight to lofty ideals of chivalry can be found seeking the trail of the adepti — roaming the depths of the forests and traversing the towering karst peaks where the clouds linger. Away from the watchful gaze of the Qixing, they perform their chivalrous deeds in secret. We've already told the story of the anonymous young duo who pierce the rainbows and slice through the frost. But today, we'll tell the story of another great hero, a tale you have yet to hear.\n\nIt's said that this great hero came striding upon winds from the east.\nHaving being granted the official insignia of the Geo Lord, they conjured these Wings of Golden Flight and roamed throughout Liyue, delivering justice mandated from on high.\nThough the bloodthirsty serpentine Chi encroached the lands with destructive intent, the great hero swung his gigantic fist with the might of Mt. Aocang and beat the serpent into the ground, blow by blow.\nUpon meeting the evil monster of Guyun, who proved a match even for the adepti, this same great hero gripped their sword and swept away the evil legions with their blade.\nAnd let us not forget the young arrogant Fatui lord who openly opposed the Lord of Geo and disparaged the Qixing. Our hero crashed one of his banquets, kicked the fruit bowl, and smacked the living daylights out of the snooty young lord. After having some sense beaten into him, the young lord then confessed his mistakes, respectfully bowed to the Lord of Geo and the Qixing, and promptly left the feast...\n\nThough this wind glider is of the more luxurious variety, the hero was happy to receive the praise of Liyue's citizens and gladly accepted it.\nHowever, these wings come with usage notes that on the surface seem to be written in a storytelling form, while in substance being instructions on how to be a true chivalrous hero. "name": "Wings of Merciful, Wrathful Waters",
"description": "A stylized wind glider gifted to you as a mark of Fontaine's acknowledgment and recognition.",
"rarity": "4",
"story": "Legend has it that the first of oceans had a composition similar to that of blood, and that life within it was not individual. To set foot upon land or take to the skies, life evolved blood vessels to keep that primordial ocean flowing within itself. The beating heart that commanded this primordial sea of blood was the first Hydro Dragon. Each time that heart pulsed, all life would arise and give it praise.\nOf course, these are simply tales that the Hydro Vishaps tell each other, and are not to be trusted. Perhaps this tale is told differently amongst other vishaps, and the stories passed down between Oceanids speak of what came after:\n\nWhen that first heart was removed, the envoy of Celestia, the leader upon whose shoulders lay the duty to create life, came to the great primeval sea, and there she created another heart. That heart had like nobility unto a dragon, but lacked its outer form, and had the majesty of a god, yet was bereft any divine duty. And though it was created by a ruler of humans, its substance and essence were all original matter from this world, entirely without outside elements.\nShe was the tears that flowed into the primordial sea, seeking communication and understanding, a pursuit which caused her to weep. And it was due to this compassion that she committed all the sins that all beings of pure water must beware.\n\nWhat follows after that is the version of the tale that humans tell, although it is commonly passed on only amongst scholars:\nThe great Remus came to Fontaine, envisioning a mighty and eternal city, Remuria. He instructed the people, and eventually managed to reach one part of his dream. Then swiftly came the prophecy — not ill-intended, yet horrifying beyond measure — that the golden melody would one day end, and Remuria would fall.\nIt is often said that \"should a hero not die upon returning home, they shall become a tyrant.\" The justice that Remuria imposed to escape this destiny would eventually turn into tyranny, and this tyranny brought about resistance like a wrathful tide. Thus did Remus vanish — Remus the eminent, Remus the halfwit, Remus the far-sighted, Remus the solitary.\n\n...\n\nHumans desire judgment because they feel guilty. Humans want, and so they want to give things up — humans always desire a god. That is why the primordial sea's heart, gentle Egeria, was awarded a shard of that one who was first, and gained both an Archon's right and the divine duty-come-lately. Was this the desires of humanity having reached the heavens? Or was it merely the opening act of a string of dark plots?\n\nThis is a tale that no one can know but you. When you awake, these wings, and the aforementioned tale, will appear at your bedside. You can ask all the species in this world to prove if their tales are true or not, and not one of them shall believe you, for how could this wind glider and this tale materialize before you out of thin air?",

"story": "\"I once knew a certain poet. Who wasn't me, by the way...\"\nThat green guy chomped on an apple as he told the following story.\n\nI once knew a certain poet. He lived in an era when the flames of war had just settled, and the embers had just calmed. And he had seen far too many disputes and separations.\nThen, he would sing to the skies above, to the stubborn stone, to the surging seas, and to the stars beyond.\nFor he knew that someone must heal the hurts of the world, and thus someone needed to find a way to communicate with them.\nIf the sky, the stones, the sea and the stars would reply, then music might flow through all things.\nAt first, the sky made no reply but the shadow of birds as they passed him by. Nor did the stones answer save the falling drops of water. In the beginning, the seas said nothing in response — but its rank, salty breath brought the omen of a storm.\nThe stars did not answer him either.\nBut the poet knew this would happen. What could this sky full of stars say, anyway?\n\nStill, the poet did not give up, though not because he believed or anything. This was just the way he was.\nLater, the sea replied. A sentry post was set up on a high cliff to watch for the storm, and the Sister who took up her post there would applaud his performance.\nLater, the stone replied. It dabbed its face with a handkerchief, saying: \"Your performance was indeed unmatched throughout the land. But the next time you get drunk and pour wine on my head, I shall be quite angry.\"\nLater, the skies responded. The shade of birds flying overhead one day blotted out the very sun itself. The poet lifted his head, and a beautiful dragon descended before him.\n\n\"I was thinking that if I could move the stars to tears one day, I think I'd summon a meteor shower! ...Ah. Right. See this? This wind glider was the stars' answer. It fell from the sky, just like you!\"\nThe poet in green pointed to the sky, apple in hand.\n\"This poet is not me, or perhaps this wind glider fell down from the heavens. "name": "Wings of the Forest",
"description": "A stylized wind glider gifted to you as a mark of Sumeru's acknowledgment and recognition.",
"rarity": "4",
"story": "Because Sumeru was once a land of few dreams, the people there had a superstition: that if you see images formed of the heart in your sleep, then they must be the revelation and enlightenment from the Dendro Archon. They must have some kind of deeper meaning. It is possible that \"Akasha\" would never have come into being without this tradition.\nThere was once a great master Firnas — not the current great lecturer in the Akademiya, mind — who claimed to have many dreams, and to be good at memorizing them. As such, he gained much more repute as a poet and a dreamer as opposed to a researcher or an inventor. Sumeru lacked dreams, and if he truly dreamed much, then he must've been nothing less than a divine appointee, sitting at the Dendro Archon's feet every night. Those jealous of him would thus say that daydreams did not count as dreams.\n\nIt is said that he had witnessed the wind gliders from lands far abroad and realized that their working principles did not follow physical laws at all. If it were not for the Anemo Archon's blessing upon each item, they would be as a millstone even if granted to a mighty eagle, causing it to plummet out of the skies with enough force to smash tortoise shells below.\nThus did this great master Firnas — and once again, I must emphasize that this is not our current great lecturer Firnas — resolve to create a wind glider that did not require the Anemo Archon's blessing — yes, it would fly by dint of its own beauty and by the physical laws that governed all things.\n\nAnd so he got to work day and night, before one day falling asleep from exhaustion. It is said that he once again encountered the Dendro Archon in his sleep.\nThe parent of living creatures listened to the great master Firnas' frustrations before laughing, and telling him a story.\n\nThe story was about the wind that had taken on a human form, a talking stone, and... Uh, a wooden thing made of Electro. The three of them discussed the makeup of the world, and each believed that they were one of the fundamental elements. The stone claimed to hold up all things, and to this they all agreed. The wooden object said that all mortal thought was the work of electricity. This was a bit of a stretch, they all reckoned, but it could not be said to be false, either. When it was the wind's turn, he told a story:\n\nThe tales of another world speak of children of the air who dwelt in the skies. These were all spirits of the wind. Some of them could slice through mountains and rocks, and others could summon tornadoes to move clouds and water with incomparable force. But the youngest of those children was disregarded by people for the weakness of his breath of life. Thus did he hide himself away. The wind-pollinated flowers were in agony, for there were none to pollinate them, and so did the boldest dandelion search for and find the breath of life. And to encourage him, the dandelion told a story:\n\nOnce upon a time, in a faraway land, there dwelt a powerful and beautiful queen, who seemed almost to shine like the sun. But her younger brother was a rambunctious, playful knight... (some omissions...) To encourage her, the queen's lady-in-waiting told her a story:\n\n...\n\nAfter that night, the great master Firnas constructed a wind glider before asking the Anemo Archon to bless it. Though it produced the exact same results as any wind glider heretofore invented, the Akademiya pronounced this similarity to be a coincidence.\nLegend has it that the first thing this great master said upon waking was: \"Alright, I know, I know! The answer was right before me this whole time.\"\nBut in truth, these were his words: \"Okay, alright, I know! The answer was right before me this whole time. Please, I beg you, stop repeating yourself — I know the gods' blessings are also part of this world's rules.\"\n\nThis fable teaches us that the truths of this world are to be honored, but that it is best not to seek physics in fantastical dreams.\nSo, how about it, then? Would you like to accept Master Firnas' wind glider?",

You see, the tengu have wings, right?\"\nYou have a hard time believing those words at first.\n\n\"The 'tengu' are first and foremost ones who have received great divine endowment to fly freely in the skies. You have ridden the wind and clouds over ridges and rooftops throughout Inazuma, and it would be too humble a comparison to name you equal to a crow or a falcon.\"\n\"There were once people who praised and imitated the tengu, calling themselves the 'Tengu-kin.' They sat high on top of the Tenshukaku roof, on top of great trees, and on top of the sacred torii gates, making raucous fun of the crowd and bureaucrats below. They even caused a great commotion by tossing books into the Tenshukaku, completely ignoring the authority of the shrine and Shogunate.\"\n\"What a carefree bunch. Later, these people were grabbed by the real tengu and were taught a good lesson.\"\n\"Ah, naturally, you need not worry about such legends, because you're a law-abiding citizen who abides by our public morals and customs, right?\"\nYou elect not to comment on your own habit of casting a shadow over the houses of Inazuma with your wind glider, or your climbing of many a high stone wall.\n\n\"Also, the title of 'tengu' can be used to describe unrivaled swordsmen. Other than the major schools that can trace their lineage directly from Narukami, flashes in the pan such as the Mistsplitter and the Meikyou Shisui Art, and schools that have lasted till the present like the Iwakura Art also exist. The Iwakura secret blade technique, one they did not teach to ordinary pupils, is the Tengu Sweeper. They say that this blade traces a strange arc, and can triumph even over the highly-skilled Yougou Tengu. I believe that your own abilities require little additional praise in that regard.\"\n\"Lastly, 'tengu' often have mastery in the manipulation of Anemo and Electro. Legend has it that there is a relic passed down between the Yougou Tengu from generation to generation — the 'Galestorm Fan.' It is said that its front side can call forth Anemo, and the reverse side can summon Electro. And since you can use both Anemo and Electro, you definitely count as a tengu! By the way, the fan is just a trick. Normally, to keep themselves from being found out, a tengu that can summon Anemo usually pairs up with another that can wield Electro when they go out.\"\nSara, who is standing off to the side, looks even more awkward than you at this exchange.\n\n\"For your contributions to Inazuma, the Grand Shrine would now like to award you with this wind glider.\"\nSo that's where tengu wings originated from, huh?\nNoticing your doubtful gaze, Sara immediately responds:\n\"Of course not!\"",

She would forever lose the opportunity to hear her sister play that song.\nAlas, she was not as interested in this field as her sister had been, and so she too gradually forgot these things.\n\nThe next time she heard that tune, it was when she was taking shelter from the rain while on traveling in private.\nThe blind zither player played this tune as a way of asking the owner for a drink. The old musician's skills were nothing exceptional, but they were up to the task.\nWhen the tune was finished, and the proffered wine was consumed, the slightly-inebriated musician waxed lyrical, claiming that the one who composed this tune had been a person of unparalleled nobility.\nOf course, these words were just rumors spread by wild-wandering folk — who would believe them?\nAmidst the laughter in the room, she alone suddenly remembered.\nShe saw again that courtyard into which the afternoon sunlight poured, saw again the breeze whose breath caused the pond to ripple, saw the tree-shade swaying slightly, and the plucking, the plucking of those strings...\nAnd she saw again, after so long, the silhouette, zither in hand, sitting beside the corridor.\nThat figure was about to turn, yes, to turn her face this way...\n\nIs being a mayfly so wrong? All things are born and die in a blink of an eye, yet their dreams burn no less for it.\nIs being a flower a sin? Flowers bloom and wilt in a single night, but those who witness that sight shall never forget it.\nSuch things make memories \"memories.\"\nAre memories not transient flashes of bygone times, awakened in an reveric instant?\n\n\"...I hear that the Yashiro Commission found this wind glider next to a dust-covered zither when they were cleaning out old items. I fear that it is of little use to me, so I shall give it to you.\"\nSo says the lady, even as the old zither in her hands basks in its fresh coat of paint. That said, you can tell from her stance that she is quite out of practice.\nSeeming to sense your expectant gaze, she sighs gently.\n\"Before we begin, I must caution you — my musical skills are far overshadowed by my martial ones.\"\nAnd reminiscing on the past, she begins to play the only song she ever learned.",
